“This piece will fund Black Lives Matter Global Network to overturn systemically racist policies at either national, state, or local levels.”

About the work

This work is a physical manifestation of the black squares that where shared on social media all around the world on 'Blackout Tuesday'.
The painting has been made using the world's blackest acrylic paint (Stuart Semple's 'Blk 3.0') against a regular black paint. The size of the black square is the size of an actual Instagram post.

This painting is a meant to be a permanent reminder that we have to fight inequality every day.
